About me

Hello! I am Abhishek Niranjan, a final-year student pursuing Integrated Bachelor and Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. My Masters thesis is on Temporal Analysis of Tasks and Techniques in Computational Linguistics under Prof. Pawan Goyal, Computer Science and Engineering Department, IIT Kharagpur.

My research interests include:

Given my research interests, I have been involved with Data Science Positions in the Energy Industy. Since been fascinated with the intersection of Data Science with Energy, Finance and Transportation sectors. Also, I am a keen follower of Blockchain Technology and really wish to add it to my skillset in future.

Hobbies

Coming from a Defense background, I have been actively involved in various outdoor activities. A regional level Basketball and Badminton player and an amateur Football player is how I define my sports profile presently. Chess, Rubik’s cube(and variations) and Sudoku have always consumed a fraction my brain’s daily duty hours for long.

A Cinephile. Avid follower of Reebok Crossfit Games. Wannabe Cliff Diver. Aspires to learn many languages(German at present).
